St George’s Day Parade
Sunday 26th April 2020

Please keep up to date with the latest Coronavirus updates. As of 17th March all activites are to be suspended so please await details on OSM or from Leaders who will notify you if this is still able to go ahead.

This year’s Service will be held in Wetherby at St James Church.

We hope that as many of our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers will attend as possible. This is only one of two occasions each year that we expect attendance if possible, the other being Remembrance Parade.

Please meet at the Scout and Guide Hut next to the Church at 2pm, ready to enter the Church as a Group, for the start of the Service at 2.30pm.

All members should wear uniform, with neatly ironed neckers please. No jeans or sweatshirts please. Smart shoes also.

Many Beavers and Cubs will be presented with their Bronze and Silver Challenge Award Certificates. Attendance will also count towards some badge work for many sections.

Parents and families may attend the Service. At the end, expected to be around 3.15pm, refreshements will be served in the Scout and Guide Hall, to which all are welcome.

Please do not attempt park in the Church car park, which is very small. There is parking in Crossley Street Car Park, Morrisons, as well as in the Wilderness Car park and the centre of town.

Many thanks
The Leaders
