Tadcaster Remembrance Parade
    Sunday 11th November 2018

As usual, Tadcaster Scout Group will be taking part in the Parade and Service at St. Mary’s Church.  This is only one of the two Church Services that we ask for attendance from our young people.  Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers should all aim to attend.

Full uniform should be worn, with neatly ironed neckers, with a woggle or tied with a neat friendship knot. Dark trousers, skirts with dark tights, and dark shoes should be worn. Coats cannot be worn so please make sure that our members wear several layers under their uniform. Black gloves may be worn.

We shall assemble in the Central Car Park (behind Cycle Sense) at 9.15am and then march off to St Mary’s Church for the Service after which we will parade to the War Memorial for 11am.

Refreshments will be available at the Riley-Smith Hall following the final Parade.

Parents and family members are welcome to attend the Service and also to join us for refreshments.

There will be a rehearsal for Standard Bearers in St Mary’s Church at 7pm on Friday 9th November. Your section Leaders will let you know if your child has been selected as the Standard Bearer for their section.

Please encourage attendance. We look forwards to seeing you all on the 11th to mark the 100th Anniversary of the end of the 1st World War.
